Lessons are held in a spacious, safe environment at the Calvary Conservatory of Music inside Calvary Baptist Church in Alexandria, Louisiana. The conservatory provides security on the premises during the evening hours.

The studio has an upright acoustic piano and a Yamaha CVP-700. The studio keyboard lab had four Yamaha Clavinovas and iPads for the students to use during lessons. The keyboard lab also has an area for off-the-bench piano games during lessons or for use during group piano classes.

The studio curriculum is based on the Louisiana Music Teachers Association piano rally syllabus. The lesson book is the core of the curriculum and is supplemented with classical music, traditional hymns, pop, and Contemporary Christian music. Music theory, technique, and ear training are other essential aspects of the studio curriculum. All piano lessons are tailored to the learning styles of the individual student.

Students have the opportunity to participate in the Alexandria District Hymn Playing Festival and the Louisiana Music Teachers Association District Piano Rally.
